I have finally finished reading Eragon and loved the story. I thought that the plot was amazing with tons of unexpected plot twists. Due to all these unexpected turns in the plot the book was very interesting. All of the characters were well developed and dynamic characters. The story did a good job of emphasizing how the changed throughout the story, both physically and mentally. Eragon has matured through his journey around Alagaesia, he hasn't mastered his powers yet but he is well on his way there. He matures in the sense that he now truly understands the meaning of life and that it isn't worth taking a life to save a life. The only problems I have with this book is that I, personally, think that the story moves to slow and it is just dragging. It's as if some things are inserted just for the sake of being there, they don't have a true value or purpose in the story and advancing the plot. Since this is a series the book doesn't really end here. I think that this is a very good story with a very good plot and that it would have been an even better book if it were a little more fast paced, but still I would rate this book a 4 out of 5. This is the first book in the series and ends with a cliffhanger and you'll have to finish the series if you truly want to finish the book. Only another 2000 pages to go.

Onto blog #2!! I am about halfway done with the book Eragon and so far think it is an absolutely amazing book. By this point in the book so much has happened, so many plot twists and things that I never saw coming. During every second Eragon is fighting for his life along with Roran(Eragons's cousin), Saphira and Brom(Eragon's Trainer). They are trying kill the Ra'zac, which are basically creatures that look like birds and are fierce warriors(you get the point). The Ra'zac are creatures that you don't want to mess with but they caused trouble to Carvahall so Eragon goes to seek them out. Their "mission", so you could say, is to stop the Ra'zac. Along the way they meet with the Varden which was a group of people and other creatures that were looking to stop Galbatorix, who is a evil king(as you learned in the last post) that is trying to conquer all the lands of Alagaesia. That's all for this post. You'll have to hold all your questions until next time. Will Eragon save Katrina? Will Galbatorix pay for enslaving the people? Will Eragon master being a Dragonrider? You'll just have to tune in to see how everything will play out(I still need to finish the book:).
